"Right on, Riana. I do my machine quilting after my exercises and before I rest again and read a few chapters of my book. I am reading a most complicated book with the story of 3 different characters and 2 different times about 2 hundred…"
"After my rehab session with a physio exercise assistant going over my exercises I feel wiser and more confident. I need to relax more so as not to defeat the purpose of the stretches. It is also so much simpler to do exercises on the…"
"Wilma, your Gnomes Quilt is so excellent! I just love it.
Today I started my physio + rehab (2 1/2 hours) sessions. And I also started machine quilting my 9 Patch Variation Quilt. I only work 1/2 hour at a time and have a little…"
"I, like all your friends at this site, am so sad to hear of your diagnosis. I hope that you get in to see a specialist soon. It's good to be on a waiting list so they know in the Dr.'s office that you can get there for an appt.…"
"Zoe, I love your 2 quilts! I have a thing for getting the directions right when making quilts, but I don't think I would have taken out the strawberries. If the quilt is going to a non-quilter, I have a suspicion that the person…"
"Thank you, Gail. I am so inspired by your comments. I'd like to live with a good quality of life to enjoy "old age" too. The UFOs don't even need to be finished just as long as I can play with them for…"
"O.K. Kris, I understand how to bind the placemats. The outside corners I make the fold even with the point of the triangle.

I joined a Canadian panel group on-line and I am getting lots of ideas for what to do with panels and cheaters of all sizes. I may try some of those. Really, it doesn't matter what size I work on. Little means less…"

"Kris, the pillow top is so well pieced! Do the colours match your décor or is it to be a gift. I was puzzled by the placemats. How will you bind them with the triangles on each side? They look great too with all…"
"Riana, your 3 projects sound nice! I went to physio yesterday and I will have my back and my right hip treated. My main physio is a woman and she has 2 male assistants who work on me with the machines and then I have a male exercise man…"
If you downloaded the pattern from her blog, it should be a file on your computer and you can just attach the file to an email. Otherwise, if you scan it to your computer, again it will have a file name and can be attached. I'm not in any hurry to start...so many other things to do and my good machine is in the shop. But thank you so much for helping me out!
The "wood grain" quilting sounds interesting, can't wait to see the whole quilt done.Remember l signed up for the free online longarm class? lt said for best results, use a computor ( instead of tablet etc.) , so l closed it, deciding to use computor later. Now it won't come up.l wonder if there was a time limit.l wish l'd taken it on the tablet, even if not as good as on computor.
Smart idea, about the mug rugs...l would never have thought of fabric gluing...l'd have probably gone to snipping/pulling out the poor handwork , washed & redone w/machine. Not likely a" profitable" use of time:)
