Hi Deb...I've been here for several weeks now and have been busy finding my way around. I don't belong to facebook or any kind of social networking site, so this is all new to me.
I have a question. You posted a photo of an old sewing machine you cleaned up...I bought one for the same reason...the cabinet! I paid $25 for it! Anyway, your machine looks so much like mine and I'm wondering if it's a "White" brand machine. Even the cabinet looks like mine!
I had it refurbished and it was hard finding some replacement parts, but finally everything was in working order. I love that machine, but I wish it had specialty feet (like a free-motion foot or a 1/4" foot). I don't think the feed dogs drop either.
Anyway, I was just wondering if it's the same machine as mine.
