Hi, Connie. I thought I'd see who else on AQS is in Colorado. I live in Greeley. I have quilted off and on for years but am now retired which should give me more time for quilting. Lately having a new grandson (my first grandbaby) and gardening has put my quilting on hiatus, but am ready to start up on a fan project I started a few weeks ago.

I've been here since last April and at first I had a really hard time finding my way around. I had never been on a group like this before and I'm not on facebook, so it was all new to me. I couldn't figure out how to post pictures for ages! But I finally figured things out! Everyone is so helpful and friendly and I'm really glad to have found this site; I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do!
I noticed you joined the newbies group; it's basically for newer quilters, but there are a lot of very experienced quilters there to help with newbie questions. Obviously you're very skilled, so I'm glad you're there! I belong to several other groups, but some of them are pretty quiet.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and welcome!
