Profile Information

Tell us about yourself—as much or as little as you like.
Well, let's see, I am older, disabled, living in a senior apt building, in Michigan. I have a 5 lb. long hair Chihuahua named Zippy, who keeps me laughing. I lost my home 3 years ago along with all my fabric, and sewing supplies. I was able to save the sewing machine, so wasn't a total loss. LOL
How many quilts have you made?
I have absolutely no idea! Let's just say many.
Do you want to make quilts, or simply enjoy them?
Both really. Making quilts is great, but I find I admire many if not all quilts.
How long have you been a quilter?
Over 30 years now, I guess. My first quilt was a queen sized log cabin, following E,Burns strippy method. Back then we didn't have rotary cutters, and E.Burns method was ripping the strips. I made 2 more queen log cabins for family after the first. log cabin, following Ellenore
What is your favorite quilting technique?
Not sure I have a favorite. Most of my quilts have been pieced, but I also enjoy applique and pp.
Why do you quilt?
Hard to say. It is just so much a part of who I am. Quilting is so satisfying and a joyful way to live.
Do you have a website?
