Tell us about yourself—as much or as little as you like.
Love to sew, embroider, applique, paint, bead & design, create using mixed media techniques & then see the results. Sometimes, actually often, I surprise myself at the end of the project.
I have so many ideas in my head of things I want to do but it seems I can't accomplish them as quickly as I'd like to!
How many quilts have you made?
One, but with many items contain quilting areas either machine or by hand
Do you want to make quilts, or simply enjoy them?
Make & enjoy the process - creating one-of-a-kind items is what I enjoy most
How long have you been a quilter?
a few years , but have sewn for over 70 + years- started very young via Mother.
What is your favorite quilting technique?
machine, then hand applique, embroidery, painting I enjoy mixed media work
Why do you quilt?
enjoyable & challenging, expressive,

Well a lot has happened since last I posted anything!  We had to put our 80 acre ranch up for sale & are currently in Apache Junction, AZ looking for a place of our own.  It's proving more difficult than we had anticipated; Tom, my husband needs a 'shop' and I need a "studio"  in a newer  home but so far have not been able to find one that suits 'both' of us.  Either he is satisfied & I am not, or vise a versa.  But we will continue to look.  You may recall that Tom had built me a…

just joined MQP a few moments ago (yesterday at this time) & then went to Favorite Tools & was captivated by the previous discussions re: wall color, lighting etc. for a new sewing/quilting space. I live 30 + miles off the grid & my husband built me a 'shed' 10 x 18' for

laundry, office, ironing, sewing/quilting, cutting table etc. I have sketched & re-sketched my layout numerous times so I can be very organized & get everything in
