- Tell us about yourself—as much or as little as you like.
- I am married, have no children and work full time. I also do Yorkie rescue along with working my full time job and have been doing this for about 15 years. Due to work and dog rescue I don't get the opportunity to get away for a vacation, so I spend what little spare time I have either reading, knitting or quilting. :) I also love to cook and bake, as well as add to my collection of cookbooks.
- How many quilts have you made?
- Two and one that I am currently working on.
- Do you want to make quilts, or simply enjoy them?
- I want to make quilts to give as gifts to family and friends, as well as enjoy viewing the amazing talent of other quilters who have been quilting for many years.
- How long have you been a quilter?
- Oh, not long at all. I am a beginner and love taking quilting classes and absorbing any and all knowledge from all of the wonderfully talented quilters out there.
- What is your favorite quilting technique?
- Oh goodness, I don't think that I've been quilting long enough to have a favorite quilting technique. I would be more correct in telling you a technique or two that are giving me a bit of a challenge, but with practice, practice and more practice I should be able to master many of the techniques and that is my goal.
- Why do you quilt?
- I love all types of fabric. I love to create/design. I love a challenge. I love the relaxation it gives me as I make the quilt and most of all I love the joy it brings to others when they receive a beautiful handmade quilt as a gift that they will treasure for a lifetime.
