Tell us about yourself—as much or as little as you like.
I am fairly new at quilting altho I have sewn most of my life, ie. clothes, household items, etc. I chose to do everything by hand but have been rather surprised at the reaction of machine quilters. I love the whole process of quilting, from choosing a pattern and materials, cutting, piecing, quilting and finishing. I am always amazed at the results. I did piece one quilt by machine as it was a paper pieced design, but did hand quilt it all the same. So far all my quilts are bed sized, either queen or king sized and proudly put them on our beds. I like traditional designs best.
