I designed this pattern and used Aboriginal fabric from Australia called the "Women's Ceremony," as well as various batiks for this queen sized quilt for my eldest daughter's 40th birthday. I love how the pattern looks different depending on what part you look at and how the rust batik jets across the field like lightning.
