One of my nephews is a decorated vet who came home with PTSD and TBI. I designed and made this for him, and he returned this picture with his wheelchair.

thank you. after i posted i did the "Duhhh" thing and did search. as a former icu nurse in head trauma unit, i am long time familiar w tramatic brain injury term, but had not seen the acronym used before. my husband, an ingineer, & i, an RN, sometimes sound like we are speaking secret code as both our professions are so rife w acronyms.

Yes, TBI (traumatic brain injury) is one of the most common injuries, because of so many explosive devices. I will tell him. Thanks for your good wishes.

we are all familiar w the acronym PTSD, but i have not read of the TBI one before.
