Just finished putting the main body of this quilt top together. My first try at on point piecing. Finally caught on to doing the corners, when doing the last one. I embroidered the squares, then pieced everything together. Not bad for an amateur, even if I do say so myself. LOL

Thanks everyone for the rave reviews! For those asking for the pattern, I actually used 2 sets of patterns. The patterns can be bought online. http://www.oregonpatchworks.com/items.php?did=47587&pid=76233" Designers name is Janet Samson. She does awesome work. I have several other patterns by her that I have yet to do.

New here. I used to live in Tacoma (my sister still does) and I worked in Gig Harbor. This quilt is beautiful! I Embroider on my Pfaff and my Bernina....I have never tried a dedicated embroidery machine.

I go to the one in Tacoma. I live on the Key Peninsula, about 20 miles from Gig Harbor. I get to go over the infamous Narrows Bridge. But the Hood Canal has a reputation all its own! LOL! I have had good luck with the gals at the Tacoma Quality Sew and Vac. Several are very knowledgeable. Most all know the software, but only one can make the software dance, and her name is Kathy!

Leann - I just realized that you live pretty close.  I'm up in Port Ludlow, on the Hood Canal.  I have that same toll bridge to get the main store of Quality Sew and Vac, and haven't seen any good classes at my local store in Silverdale.
