Hunter's Star pattern. Since November is the month with the Hunter's Moon, I call is November Star. Queen-size quilt (90x90), reds and white. Displayed at the show "Black and White and Red all Over" at the West Roxbury Public Library, under the auspices of Proper Bostonian Quilters. Donated to the VHL Family Alliance to sell for benefit of their work in finding a cure for genetic cancer syndromes. This quilt sold for $3000 in November 2012.

Joyce, Thank you for this post, and the written description.  I've been thinking of this pattern for the last few months..doing it in dark blues and white.  I really feel inspired now.  Congrats on the fundraising.  Hopefully mine will do as well for the local volunteer firefighters.
