I Love Wisconsin also. I love this barn scene. I'd like to try this type of quilting some day. I also love the Gene Kelly quilt. It looks just like him and the details are wonderful. They are really all beautiful pieces of art.

Thanks everyone, it was a fun project to make.  Sometime I think my quilts have to be so 'literal' and this was all play. :)

i LOVE this!!!! my brain thinks too linearly, too litterally ...wanted to try sky, sunset so thinking strips like in your skys..scrapped the whole thing. tried to make it look artfully realistic like in your scenic art quilts. but THIS!! THIS IS PERFECT!! i hope you don't mind if i sorta 'borrow' this idea from you. :))
