This is really not difficult.  I got the how to on the American Quilter's Society website. Basically it is just a bunch of pancakes sewn and turned inside out and joined at the sides.  It is a great way to use scraps.  Doing it again I would either not put batting in it or use the lightest batting I could find because the places where they join get a bit stiff.
