It took about 3 months to make this one.  I was quite happy with the results, but since I've only been quilting and embroidering for a little over 2 years, it was certainly a learning experience.  Since I have yet to make two quilts alike, it seems they all are learning experiences actually.  I really like pieced block quilts too, but I've found that I like the freedom of style so much more.  Besides, if I have no rules to follow then I don't have to worry about breaking them. LOL

Wow I would love to do a quilt like this. I have wanted to for a long time. Very pretty.

Yes I did. Thank you. I designed it on my computer then projected it onto the fabric to be traced. The emroidery designs were purchased and then modified.

Did you make this pattern up? It is lovely.

Thank you ladies.  I spent a lot of time on this one. Jackie, I don't have a pattern for this one.  I drew it up on the computer, printed out each layer on a transparency, projected it onto the fabric pinned on the wall and traced it.  I did make some changes from the original design, but I'll be glad to send you the original file if you would like it.

Don't worry, only you will ever see the flaws. It's beautiful.
