My quilting group, Quilts from Caring Hands, received a very generous and beautiful donation yesterday. The lady told us she read the article on the OnPoint Newsletter and decided to clean her sewing room and give the fabric to us. We are so thrilled and blessed.

Val...  it is a donation to Quilts from Caring Hands, a group that makes quilts for children at risk, which I belong to.

Wow. That's brilliant. What do you plan to use it for?

Hi Sheri... I use Pam Parvin in Dallas.  She does a wonderful job and is reasonable in price.  I don't enjoy the sandwich part either.  Pam has a longarm business, but don't know think she would pin baste.

Hi Vickie! I have a lot of quilt tops to get quilted. Do you know of a good longarmer who is reasonably priced? I usually hand quilt but I need someone who can sandwich the layers together (baste) for me so I can quilt them by hand.  I just don't have the room to do it in my small apartment.

Hi Sheri...  I have a Pomeranian also, her name is Blossom.  And the fall colors are my favorite, they are so rich and warm.  Nice to meet you too...

Hi Vickie! Nice to meet you. I have one dog, a Pomeranian named Holly. I'm currently working on a Fall leaf quilt. Just started it last weekend. Fall is my favorite time of year because of all the colors, so like to reflect that in my quilts. I make other quilts too, I'm also working on a Grandmothers Flower Garden. So many beautiful quilts to make and so little time to do them all in.
