slowly working my way thru your quilts posted on your blog. haven't found this one yet. all of your machine quilting is fabulous. it appears many, if not all, of your quilts are award winners. congratilations. i use ipad, love the stretch screen capability. so, i looked at this on "view full size" and still couldn't discern whether fabric of several muted pastel shades or quilt colored after the all over quilting completed. this is even more amazing the way you blended the thread colors and the subtle fabric colors. this is such an awsomely beautiful quilt, i love it. thank you for taking the time to share w us all here @ MQP some of your amazing work!

The top fabric is a batik with hints of pink, purple and blue. The colorations for the most part that you see are based on the thread used in the background colors -- Invisifil 100 wt.

did you also "color" the favric background after you quilted it? this is incredibly beautiful. restfull to gaze upon. hope it won awards. it should have!
