I crocheted this afghan as a gift for my son in 2014. I designed it myself, working medallion style from the center line out on all sides. Every few rows the stitch pattern changed, to give it texture and visual interest. The yarn was very soft & bulky: Bernat Baby Blanket yarn, super bulky (6), color Baby Dove, polyester.
