crazy gracie. yup --- she has been out of her kennel a couple times today. jumpin', flyin' -- crazy gracie! still goes for mighty leaps and lands PLOPP!! on her side, jumps up and continues her little furry mayhem. jumped behind the shelves filled w books in a little antique corner unit. i dug her out from under the pile of large old poetry books, none the (apparent) worse for wear. funny funny little kitten. and she is still behaving like the little wild one i thought was a male, the way she/he beat up on her siblings, won EVERY bout of "King of the Mountain"!! lollol

...but alas, time for bed now. so back into her kennel. it's Psycho Pups' turn w mommy for a while.

thank you val...she does. what doesn't show is she has a frosting of long white hairs on her back and hips. it is becoming less obvious as her colors change w maturity. but her face says it all. these three kittens, for being born & raised in the wild, are the most loving affectionate little ones. amazing the opportunities He presents us with at times.

riana - yes. the little lady in my avatar pic is declining rapidly. i will be surprised if she lasts the remainder of the winter. she will be the third kitty love that i have lost to old age, she is showing all the too familiar heartbreaking signs. i don't need another kitty, i would still have 3 after i lose the squeaks, but the way that blackie "adopted" me weeks ago before they would even stay on the deck when i took out thier fresh food and water and formula. and at night time w just the deck light on, not knowing that she was right at my feet i stepped on her a few tims! but if i acted like i knew she was there, she would run & hide like the other two. then she started climbing up my pant leg, and run if i acted like i noticed! lol like i could ignore the pain of those little claws?! so, yeah, i guess since she decided that i was her human even tho she was a wild kitten, i keep her. after i got them so they would stay around, then got so they would play w stings i dangled and as we progress thru the levels of developing trust so that i could finally grab them & start the rescue process. blackie maintained her "ownership" ..would pout if i played w the others. even this past week of all three in the house here. she would come over and get between me and other kittens. so..her decision, her choice & i will respect it. and besides that? i am soooo FLATTERED! this wild creature chose me as her own personal human.

thanks carla. yeah, i hadn't noticed that before you mentioned it. but definite bat shape! but she is as sweet and gentle as she looks. is doing better at learning to play. rolling around "killing" my hand, then she will stop mid-murder and, while holding my arm with all four feet - she rubs her head against my hand, grab some loves ...then back to crazy kitty mayhem. one of my rescues that has been here a few years, appears to be the one that will become her mentor ---as soon as Serena figures out how to help Gracie escape from prison :)) lollol

Gracie. amazing gracie. and her song is ... yeah ..Amazing Grace. it started running thru my mind as we sat and played/snuggled. she likes to do both at the same time. :))

Gracie, it fits her.

i had a violet point siamese years ago that was my Special Knitting Buddy :)). she also thought my sons toys were ever so much more fun than her own. would sit and watch him play & as soon as he was down for nap she took over his toys. the current "Work" crew prefers hand quilting & sewing to knitting, tho The Squeaks does like the opportunity it provides for a prolonged nap when i sit still for so long:)) they all have such unique & wonderful personalities. yes! do take cam on some beach walks! would love to see Molly enjoying some fresh salt sea air and all the wonderful aromas. dogs and beaches were intended for each other! :)) i miss taking my dogs to the beach. can you imagine Psycho Pup at a beach full of stinkey seaweed, dead things washed up in storms. his nose would go into apopleptic fits!! lollol
