Throw size rainbow for my daughter. It now has a simple 2.5" black border on and in line for quilting. Based upon MSQC tutorial of "Falling Charms". I cut the black charms from yardage and used Timeless Treasures Gum Drop strip treat pack

I love this quilt! I love it so much that I'm making one for myself but I used black fabric with white print  instead of just black solid fabric. My blocks finished 3" . And I have 80 blocks.  What size were your blocks?  I see that your colors repeat. My blocks start with 2 shades of pink and then 2 of red, orange, yellow, green, teal blue, blue, purple and 1 pink. Thank you for making this quilt.

I just love this simple quilt with all its bright colors!  Just the thing to use up a bunch of batik scraps!  Love it!

Oh Rogue, I understand completely about freezing days and is why I started this-even though my goal was UFO/WIPS! ;-) Needed a burst of really fresh and pretty compared to what I'd been working with :-) As for the quilting part Riana, NOPE-that's where I really struggle as I'm just learning fmq and think I'm improving with meandering loops & length of stitches too. I have some smaller items in line before this and others for quilting for more practice-maybe 'simple' falling hearts for quilting. Review of books will be a requirement first too

Love the graphic quality here! Have you decided how you'll quilt it?
