Inspiring Quilters, Stitch by Stitch
If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Hi Mary, I meant an on-line quilting group with 13,000 members.
And you are right about food tasting better on nice dishes. We had a very nice lunch.
Elizabeth-Thank You, if I join a quilt group I have to drive at night and I would have to become an officer, because I dare to express my ideas.
New dishes!!! I love to do that, but when we moved here I gave up two sets==keeping the wedding dishes, daisy pottery with lots of chips(used to have the grands convinced the more chips they got the more special they were-their mother worried about germs) for summer; and blue pottery with a hint of basketry for winter(really not enough pieces anymore, so I buy more random pieces that look Hispanic.) Food tastes better on happy dishes.
Riana understood my my cryptic request: I couldn't find the button to "friend" a quilter here.
Mary, just join a quilting group that has 13,000 members - you'll have lots of friends really soon! LOL
Riana, he did unpack them and put them in the dishwasher. I packed the old dishes and some crappy glasses he did not want to get rid of in the boxes the new ones came in. I'm going to clean the shelves before we put them away. The grinch said this morning that if they are his I'm not going to be able to eat off them. Haha! Old dishes are on their way to Value Village soon.
On the way to get my hair cut, I met a friend in the condo who wants a baby quilt for January. I have got to chain myself to the sewing machine!
Mary, l'm sure you make lots of friends in person...but on here, simply select that person's avatar or their name in blue print on any of their comments. That brings up their page. In left column, under their photo and name, you'll see " add as friend". Select that, and follow the instructions.
Liz, if they're his dishes, he has to wash them ( or at least load & unload in dishwasher, lol) , right?
Riana, those outfits are stunning! Hope the grand has fun with them.
Have forgotten how to make a friend???
Love the Kiddy clothes RIana. But I do agree with Wilma, I would shy away from minky fabric.
Zoe, it is me who has the GD who doesn't like my quilts! I'm leaving a legacy of quilts so there may be some left when GGD grows up. I'll be in Quilt Heaven at that time so I won't have any worries.
Well, after we bought the chocolates (Can you imagine some boxes were $175.), I led us in the direction of Stokes, a kitchenware store. I picked out a set of dishes and then bought 2 sets to get 8 of each. The Grinch (his old name is back) paid for them and now he claims they are his! LOL
