If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

This one Mary? Such a beauty! I think you should vgure what they would've gotten had they sold tickets, and suggest that as " the price tag". If no one steps up, save it for next year, l'm sure they'll have learned their lesson about seeking licence.

Is anyone else getting a strange looking comment box when commenting on someone's photo? I emailed Sylvia to report the " naked" one l kept betting.

Riana, did you get the message I just sent to you in response to your message?  I sent my telephone # again.  I checked in "sent items" and it wasn't there.

The quilt is the last one in "my places"gallery.

I sounded like a curmudgeon, Paul says I celebrate the whole month.  May I stop counting...the number makes me feel tired...I have too much left to learn and do.

QUESTION.  My usual raffle recipient, the local non-profit cultural center's storytelling festival (this weekend) FORGOT to get their license to run a raffle. I've been asked to set a price on the quilt or save it for next year.  My reaction is to hang the quilt with an astronomical price and a full explanation of the material costs and hours involved.  Then I will promise to bring it back next year.  Paul and I are in a perfect storm of medical, vehicle, and house repairs and can't help them out with cash.

We celebrate all week. LOL!! One day we play Sequence another day we go to the Library and get a good movie. On the special day we have steaks and sweet potatos. Nothing that costs much just something we call celebrating. My kids call and we have a good conversation. That makes me know we haven't been forsaken.

Mary, l always believe in birthdays...just to remind oneself of how fortunate we are to have come all this way, learned and seen so much!

I second that!!  No more birthdays.

Shall we stop having birthdays no?  I'm old enough.
