Hi ladies! Anyone interested in helping me represent Tennessee in an American quilt project? It's an applique project but would love some help if any of you are into that.

Quiltfest in Pigeon Forge last weekend, and the Smoky Mountain Quilters show this weekend at Maryville College, near where I live. It's a good time to be a quilter in east Tennessee!

Lalena, I just visited your new online shop.  Very nice!  I would love to do one for Curlicue Creations like that someday, too.  I like the CW background fabric you used.  Have a super day!

Welcome to the group Mary Alice.....TN is a great place to live and visit.  Let me know if you have a chance to get back here and we can go on a mini shop hop around the area.   I am glad that quilting is a part of your life.  Enjoy and happy quilting.

Hello, I am new to quilting and this group.  Unfortunately, I do not live in Tennessee now, but I consider it my home and am a graduate of UT.  I look forward to learning with you.

Cindy. be sure and measure across the center of your top both ways in order to know how long to cut your borders...the edge could be stretched while measuring...and the width is really up to you and what would look good with your design...and what size you want it to turn out can add several borders of different widths if yu like also...
