A few ideas for anyone who wants to host a swap...batiks, specific colors, solids, stripes, polka dots, theme, mug rugs, patterns, bags (easy for those of us who are learning to sew!), blocks, quilting threads, books, buttons...that's all I can think of for now!
Thanks, Diana, for starting this!
I think this group will be great, once we figure out where everything is in here...lol. If you have some swap ideas...how about we leave them in here and i'll make a list of them??
I think Starting a new discussion for each diff. swap is a good idea. Like you said.....we can keep them organized then. Then all we have to do is click on that discussion to let the host know who wants to join in.
anyone who wants to Host one...just leave a comment in here ok?
thank you ladies
I'm wondering how this will work...should each swap be listed in a separate discussion so they don't get mixed up? And will the host be the one to make the rules for that particular swap? I like the idea of a set rule list, but not everyone likes to use the same kind of fabrics, so probably the host should set the rules. What do you think?
Lets say I wanted to do a mug rug swap...would I put a discussion for "Mug Rug Swap" and everyone wanting to do it only post under that discussion?
I'll get too confused if there are 5 different swaps going on and the discussions getting mixed up!
Just curious as to what you have in mind.
Thanks!
