Inspiring Quilters, Stitch by Stitch
Come join the fun as we prepare Secret Santa packages throughout the year. There will be tutorials for gift ideas. Kathy will have surprise activities, maybe some "impossible missions". There are always lots of discussions so you can try to guess who your Secret Santa might be and to drop hints for gifts to your Secret Santa.

Well ladies, I guess I better add my name to this list before I forget. I would like a 12.5 x 12.5" scrappy string block. Recently, I have really gotten in the scrappy string block mood. I love…Continue

Colleen would like the same pattern used as Kris, but with a slight twist. She would like the center blue, the short side white and the long side red.Continue

Lee would like crazy blocks. 12.5 x 12.5" Red, Whites, and Blues, of course. I know that Lee likes live theater, so I was thinking maybe blocks that represented a different Broadway play. Even…Continue

Melanie has decided to join the log cabin group, so by now everyone should have the instructions for this on, as it has been the most popular block for our group this year. She would like the red…Continue

In case y'all didn't know, Needlespot has chat time on Friday and Saturday mornings at 9am CST and Tuesday evenings at 7pm CST. Come join us! I try to get on Friday and Saturday mornings if I can manage to get up that early now that I'm on the west coast. It's a good way to get to know some of the other gals that came from TQPM and the founder (Cindy) of Needlespot. Cindy will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the site. I've gotten to know several of the gals (especially Amy, Kathryn, Cindy, and Nancy) like I know all of you. By the way, Cindy is also founder of TQPM. She started Needlespot because TQPM was also having ning problems that couldn't be resolved.
Hello all…bounce back/forth between Needlespot and here to check on status and discussions. Beth, sounds like you accomplished a lot, hope soreness goes away soon. Also, bet it looks great. I think a lot of us have moved over to Needlespot. Isn’t as user-friendly as this site, just need to get used to its uniqueness.
We are somewhat settled here at sister-in-laws. Living here is so relaxing with the lake as our view. This area of NC has been deciding if spring should arrive or not…one morning 22 degrees and afternoon in 60s, next day rain. Then we get mornings in 40s and highs in 70s. The daffodils are starting to bloom, so guessing that is first sign of spring. We are dog sitting for a few days while SIL visits her sister in Wilmington NC. She said she needed some beach time…lol.
Will watch for quilt blocks. Have been trying to work on various UFOs to keep me busy, both handwork and machine. Also going to try some domestic machine quilting.
Well, the house is halfway done for new flooring. I put down the laminate wood floor last week and can barely move the arms. Think I aggrevated the tendonitis in the right elbow. Even challeneging to type. The carpet goes in today and tomorrow. Excited to get back to longarming again, a week and half without is giving me withdrawls. (lol) Having fun putting a quilt on the wall so I can enjoy looking at the beautiful blocks. Will be fun to see these quilts. Will you all be on Needlespot? Would love to follow them.
Trudy and Ginny, your blocks went in yesterday's mail. You should be receiving them soon.
Quilt blocks for everyone except Colleen, Kris and Melanie will be in the mail tomorrow. Hopefully Colleen and Kris's will get mailed Saturday and i will hand deliver Mel's next week. I am so sorry to be so late in getting them done and mailed
I don't think I have received a block, Linda. Thanks!
I believe I just owe blocks to Trudyann and Wilma. Let me know if you have not received a block from me. Thanks.
Beth, I'm behind on my blocks. I'll try to start on them this week. I'm not sure who I still owe blocks to yet. I'll take a look at my pile tomorrow and let you know so you can start on your quilt.
I still have 2 blocks to get out- life has taken some twists & turns and I just haven’t been able to get those last two done. I will try Thursday.
Isn't that the truth on remodeling jobs! We are just putting in flooring and husband quit smoking. Uh, tensions are interesting to say the least. I am on the side of high expectations and he is the realist. Makes things really interesting. Thank goodness ours is just flooring.
