Had a lovely visit with Kris Howell yesterday. She made the 2 hour trek from Apache Jct. to Tucson. I treated Kris to lunch at Wing Stop and she graciously stopped at the hardware store so I could pick up more packing tape. We sat among all the packed boxes for a while and also took Rocky for a walk. I could tell Kris is a dog person!! LOL Rocky did pretty good at lunch...took a bit to settle down, but once he did he was perfect. Kris brought me a beautiful Ohio Star block. Unfortunately, I didn't think to take photos.

Yes, Linda, I saw the photo.  Such a great picture of her when she was young.  I love looking at those BW photos.

We are all in shock, Wilma. Her son Jim had a lovely photo of her when she was young on Facebook yesterday. I told him how much we were all going to miss her here on MQP.

I worked on my blocks today (the Christmas card blocks).  Finished 4.  Hope tomorrow to work in the Crazy Quilt block.  Then I have those log cabins…I think I will try to chain them since 3 have the same set up.  Maybe I can finish before we head to CA on Saturday.  All the while I was thinking about Liz.  Am still in shock.

Linda, will you have time to send out those addresses to us, or would you rather wait until January with all you have on your plate right now?

Well, Kris, I know some of us don't have all of them done. And with moving I'm pretty certain a couple of us won't have them all done in time. But I think it would be ok to send them out in December with the understanding that some will be received later. I'm struggling making the log cabin blocks...not my favorite block.

Since I'll be in transit the first week of December, I'm not exactly sure when I'll get mine mailed out.

I have pieced all my Christmas card blocks - and I did them all in the RV while travelling from Ohio to AZ, lol!

Are we waiting to mail those blocks also, or are we going to send them out in December? 

Now.....what to start on next!

It looks like we should be in Congress, we can make a decision in less than a week that works for everyone.  LOL.

It looks like the day that we will all ship our packages to our Secret Santa Sister is going to be JANUARY 4th.  Thanks everyone.

Ok with me as I am far behind.  Packing up the house doesn’t help.
