Come join the fun as we prepare Secret Santa packages throughout the year. There will be tutorials for gift ideas. Kathy will have surprise activities, maybe some "impossible missions". There are always lots of discussions so you can try to guess who your Secret Santa might be and to drop hints for gifts to your Secret Santa.

Well ladies, I guess I better add my name to this list before I forget. I would like a 12.5 x 12.5" scrappy string block. Recently, I have really gotten in the scrappy string block mood. I love…Continue

Colleen would like the same pattern used as Kris, but with a slight twist. She would like the center blue, the short side white and the long side red.Continue

Lee would like crazy blocks. 12.5 x 12.5" Red, Whites, and Blues, of course. I know that Lee likes live theater, so I was thinking maybe blocks that represented a different Broadway play. Even…Continue

Melanie has decided to join the log cabin group, so by now everyone should have the instructions for this on, as it has been the most popular block for our group this year. She would like the red…Continue

Wow Colleen, sounds like you had a real challenge right before the holidays. Glad you are safe. We are renting back our house until late January and had horrible winds a week ago. No power loss or roof tile movement, but some of the gusts hit 70 mph, felt like patio was going to lift off. Hope no more before we move.
The blocks I received were from Linda and Kris. Love them. I still have several to make and will try to finish today since I need to take my machine into the spa before we take off.
Awww, Colleen - that's a mess to have to deal with right before Christmas! So sorry. Hope the rest of winter treats you more kindly!
I received a block this past week- but right now can’t remember who it was from- we lost power in our recent wind storm and shingles off our roof- no power for 4 days, no water, no heat, it’s kind of been a stressful week. I had to work today then came home to throw out a couple hundred dollars worth of food. Roof got fixed today- another $300; and I haven’t managed to wrap anything yet or deal with anything I had planned.
it’s all going to be fine but I’ve figured out everything is going to be a week late.
Ginny - good to know it arrived! Glad you like it. I guess I should check the rest of the tracking numbers, see if others have gotten their blocks.
Kathy - can't wait to get your block! And I second your wishes for the holiday, and for next year. Happy travels!!
Finally got all of my Christmas cards in the mail. It feels like the older I get the faster time flies. I think that is why they have Christmas in July sales, so that we can get everything done in time for the holidays. I think next year I am going to start preparing before Memorial Day.
Seriously though, I hope each and every one of you has a blessed and healthy holiday season. I can't wait until January gets here so that I can see what new adventures the next year brings.
I got a beautiful Christmas card block in the mail today! Thank you so much, Kris!
No it isn't Wilma! I'm doing things that I'm not supposed to be doing. Getting yelled at that I'm going to undo my back surgery. But if I wait till someone is here every other weekend to help, it will take over a year to unpack! I have orders to get done which aren't going to happen in time for Christmas.
The whoas of remodeling and moving, Trudyann!! And, being short...LOL! I've shrunk since my accident 14 years ago and am now 4'9" so I can sympathize with you.
I received 2 Christmas cards today. I am so far behind. The remodeling project is so far behind. Kitchen counter went in last week and the man who made the template apparently did it wrong. The counter across the front of the sink was to be 3 to 4 inches and it is 7 inches. I am only 5 ft tall and that makes it very uncomfortable for me to do dishes so part of the counter has to be replaced . Suppose to be installed in week or so. Still waiting for things for the bathrooms. Enough complaining. I hope everyone is well and looking forward to Christmas. Will get my cards in the mail as soon as I get them done. Hopefully by next week. Merry Christmas to each of you and your families.
I received 2 Christmas cards today. I need to get busy. I have 4 finished. Moving isn’t fun….right Linda!
I am trying to finish Christmas gifts and the Christmas cards in between. Finally finished the quilt label for great grandson’s quilt, picked up the quilt for son/DIL..now the bibd8ng, but I already made the label. Goal…all stuff to be mailed send next week.
