Feel  better soon Colleen! I think the "Be happy for 2020 to be Over" club is growing!!!

Kathy, I don't envy you that project!

I'm feeling better now that we know what caused the set back and are taking steps to rectify the problem. My new shoes with the built in lift that levels out my pelvis and legs are amazing! The therapist said walking indoors I no longer need a walker or cane. I don't need them outdoors either if walking on a sidewalk. However, in my development we do not have sidewalks. So I must continue to use a walker since walking on the street is a fall risk...there is too much gravel from people's yards (we don't have grass here). Today for the first time in what seems like forever, I walked around the block.

Our shipping date is fast approaching!

Colleen - so sorry to hear about the surgery.  Hope you heal quickly.

Kathy - we live in our RV 6 months out of the year and in a mobile home the other 6 months.  Absolutely necessary:  a comfortable bed - whatever it takes.  A drinking water hose with a filter, and an adjustable water pressure regulator.  Camping World carries a hose brand name Zero G that is light weight, expands with water, and shrinks down with out it that we love.  Depending on where you go, and the time of year, an electric heater (unless you are boondocking) and a fan.  I replaced the shower head with one that packs a bit more oomph in the spray.  That's an individual choice, not a have to.  Find a place for your fun things.  For me, it's sewing stuff, books and internet for the computer and Kindle..  I have a few hard cover books, but most of my reading is on the Kindle.  For hubby it's the satellite for his TV programs.  After you pack in your fun stuff, then you can do your clothes, dishes and food and toiletries.  Feel free to ask questions as you outfit your rolling home.

A quick check in. I’m failing miserably at keeping on top of things. I had surgery on my right elbow yesterday- so out of commission for another 6-8 weeks. At least I can type with my left hand— slowly. I must say I will be happy for 2020 to be over. I’m tired.

Hi ladies, just doing my monthly check-in. Sorry I have been so busy lately that I haven't had much time to get on-line.  My husband bought an older camper, that he is slowly remodeling because he says we need to go someplace and get away from it all.  We'll  I am reupholstering everything and making all new window covers.  He has champagne tastes and a beer budget, but I just can't seem to make him understand that.  He may end up living in it, if he isn't careful. (Like a full time doghouse)  It is gutted right now, but hopefully once it is done, I will be able to post pictures for everyone.  If anyone is currently or formerly a camper owner, all hints and suggestions for successful RVing would be greatly appreciated.  Like what is totally a necessity and what is a total waste of money.  Thanks.

Love the mason jar ring!

My pets eat anything and everything - mostly stuff that I wish they would not!

Colleen - congrats on your new Kitten!  So much fun coming your way...
