Inspiring Quilters, Stitch by Stitch
Come join the fun as we prepare Secret Santa packages throughout the year. There will be tutorials for gift ideas. Kathy will have surprise activities, maybe some "impossible missions". There are always lots of discussions so you can try to guess who your Secret Santa might be and to drop hints for gifts to your Secret Santa.

Where has the year gone! Even November is getting away from me!! I looked for something super easy, but you do have to purchase all the items needed. Looks like they should go together pretty quick.…Continue

I'm right there with you Wilma!! I did make one of the blocks and picked out fabrics and patterns for the other blocks. I have been purchasing items online for my Secret Santa sister. She will have a full box.
I really need to catch up on my secret Santa items. I haven’t done any of the challenges...oh wait, I did save an empty spool for the one ornament and I wrote down everyone’s colors for the blocks. Now to start working on stuff.
I feel like I’ve been ( missing in action) again....it does seem like it’s been busy. Physical therapy has really been * intensifying * my sessions, speech wears out my brain and I’ve been trying to accomplish more at home- all positive steps. I’ve actually started making some gifts . I have blocks to catch up on here and ornaments.
i see the neurologist on the 23rd and am fairly sure we have reached a point where they are going to try to send me back to work- probably part time with some restrictions. Workmen’s comp is starting to complain. It’s been 9 months.
I hope everyone is well and enjoying some outside time every day. I will try to be more ( present)

She has the technique here. It is hard to believe that you need to have scalding water to do this, but it is what gets the bleeding out. Tub of water, half cup of Dawn, and hours of soaking and swishing.
Melanie, love the quilt. It is such a nice remembrance for your pastor.
Beth I need to share your recipe for this. I have a QOV quilt that needs to be washed so we can present. Strong feeling it may run. Was going to put in 4-5 color catchers in the washer. Hope that helps. Where did you find the instructions on how to do your process?
