I may have go back to PO and get the large size. Like Zoe, it's partially due to bulk. And with the Nov. challenge, l'm not surprised we have more space/ size issues than would be normal.

Zoe, l believe one large box may cost a bit less to ship than 2 or 3 smaller ones..better check that out at P.O.? And l love your Christmas quilting & exchange idea.

Will I am glad I read this.  I didn’t remember needing to take a picture...will have to do that, means unpacking  box, it isn’t sealed.

As to next year, I am all in.  Unless things change, I love the monthly challenges.  Maybe we can do a block exchange as part of the SS mission.  I wasn’t able to do the last challenge, but my SS will have plenty of fun things.

Box size, either Medium or Large Flat rate is fine with me.

I like the med. box, but only fit this year because I kept 3 of the monthly challenges for myself.  Fear not SSS, your box is "very interesting."

Lee, you look like a really cute and fun person.

I packed a large flat rate box this year, I tried to get it into a medium but it just wouldn’t fit.ni hope we do it again next year. About carton size- I kind of think we should stick to flat rate cartons either medium or large. Sometimes medium just isn’t quite big enough- sometimes it’s perfect.

Linda,  I understand your valid concerns. In past groups I would do a lot, and get a little. I am not complaining as I need and want o little.. I really meant this. Somethings I have for my ss are bulk and will not work in a certain size. I do think it should be encouraged to keep to a medium or Large flat rate box, but allow for expansion if one feels a need to do so for what they wish to do for their SS. It should not be about trying to outdo anyone, only to do what we want to do or can for for our SS. I had no plans to need more space.

Ideas I had thought about was doing a Christmas quilt that we work on from maybe a list of different blocks that we get to chose from each month. or do a round robin so to speak, where each of us does one block out of the same fabric or a variety of  prints, maybe out of just red's, greens and whites, and the use of theme fabric is fine. We could then send them to each other and we can make our own quilts with them. Okay, that was my added 2 cents.

Thank you Lee. We all get busy.

I know I had a lot of health issues plus getting my house finished finally. And, I'll be having several procedures done next year...some already scheduled January thru March....thankfully that is before Secret Santa actually starts, but is during sign up time. Sign ups usually run end of January thru end of March. I will have another procedure scheduled after the one in March.

I just opened a discussion above for posting photos when you open your Secret Santa gifts when you receive them whether you open immediately or wait till Christmas. Can't wait to see the generosity of all our Secret Santas!

I would like to do it again, if you put up with my busyness, just can't seem to comment a lot but did enjoy this
