Well I can see we have an extremely generous group! The idea of a medium priority mail box was to keep the shipping cost down...and that cost has gone up since starting Secret Santa. I don't want to deter membership because of high shipping costs. I know some of us are on a limited income. With a medium flat rate box, you can do everything online and even schedule a home pickup so you don't have to go to the post office. That is not so with some of the other boxes. Until this year everyone has complied with the medium flat rate box. I admit this year I'm using a large box as well. Shall I go back to insisting on the medium flat rate box or should I leave it open? I need your input here as I don't want to loose members over this issue.

How many of you are interested in keeping Secret Santa for next year? What would you like to see in our group? Ideas for monthly projects?

Please pm me with any personal thoughts if you don't wish to express them here. Thank you all for your input.

Merry Christmas and Happy New year! Can't wait to see photos when you all open your Secret Santa packages!!

hi Kathy

Been super busy, got 2 hospice patients and lost one already, but that put me to about 70-80 hrs a week, plus my other things I do.  My ss package all ready.  I have had theater all weekend plus my regular patients.  I am the one in red.

Well, I wish I had seen Barbara's note. I am trying to pack and it does not fit the medium box. Will try a large one on Monday or maybe 2 medium...

I found a box to fit everything but it is not a priority box. So I sent my box off today 1st class. It should arrive at its destination Thursday or Friday of next week. I hope you don't mind it not coming priority. I took pics but forgot to take some pics that I put in the box last.

This is so exciting!! LOL!!

You are correct Riana. And, of course, I forgot to take photos...duh!!! The photos are for the purpose if the package should get lost in the mail and so you can file a claim. To date no one has lost anything, but there is always a first time. You do not send the photos to anyone. Attaching a copy of the rules for those of you who may have misplaced your copy.

Well  Zoe, fun is a necessity of life< grin>.

My goods are all assembled. Got the medium box yesterday at P.O. Hmmm, looks a bit small, but some of my SS things are squishable. I looked everywhere for her fave candies, and sorry to say, l was unsuccesful, so had to sub w/ other goodies. So now, Linda we are supposed to take photos of our gifts  before wrapping and send privately using site's inbox? Then wrap, stuff, seal address and be sure to insure then send you tracing # ...correct? I may have left my rules sheet at home, but that's what l remember. Please set me straight if l'm wrong.

LOL Riana, these are just for my SS, it is okay. I got almost all the other boxes done to ship today, so I will have a good weekend to work on the project.  I tend to overdo often, my cousins box I realized last night grew 10 folds !  Again, just because boxes will be many, it is mostly due to bulk.

Mary, your funny !!!

Linda, I was just teasing, The boxes will be ready to mail on the right day. The pattern was put back into the box and I don't know which box it was.  I just want to make it because, will it will be fun to make.

Found two more really stupid notions to add to my box.  I better hide them way deep down...or my SSS will send the box back.

Zoe, I idea of everyone shipping on same day is so everyone will receive theirs gifts at approximately the same time. It is up to the recipient if they open immediately or wait till Christmas. Please heed Riana's words! You are a very generous Secret Santa!!
