Marcia, praying for God's healing  and guidance for the doctors and medical staff caring for your son. Also asking for financial help. I know how draining a major medical situation is on the finances.

My middle son Joey needs prayer tomorrow since he will be going through yet another hip replacement surgery. He had to have one when he was 36 years old and it was great for 10 years and then he got a staph infection in it from dental work. Had forgotten to take his antibiotics first and the went ahead and did the work telling him take them as soon as he got home...!!! Didn't work!!! He's been thru 5 surgeries in the past 2 years to drain and clean and remove old joint and put in spacer with meds...and been on antibiotics most of this time...IV antibiotics...and oral. Now tomorrow they are going to put in the second replacement joint and we're praying this takes care of everything and he never has another problem with it again!!! He's been through the mill with all this and missed so much work and they are having a hard time financially too. They have a Go Fund Me account where people have donated to help them out and of course we've given them all we can... Please help us pray this is the last of his problems... and if you want to donate I'll post the link to his account... Thanks're much appreciated....

Cheri, God Bless you & your husband for your generous spirit in this commitment. Prayers for you that it works in the way that is needed and the little guy is safely with you soon.

Prayers for you Cheri.  It is a blessing that you are willing and able to do this.

God's blessings,  Cheri. My cousin fostered her grandson and after 7 years has finally adopted him. She said it's like starting all over.

Many of these children are orphans because their parents were killed or they got separated from their family.

I have an opportunity to go to Athens Greece to work with Syrian refugees children for six months if I can raise the funds in time. I have a great love for children. A friend was supposed to go but she can't because of personal reasons. I have to raise the funds by the end of September as we are scheduled to leave the middle of October if all goes well. I need to raise 3500 for my flight, 2000 for my accommodations at the mission while I am there and I have to have 5000 in my bank account to prove I can get home. So far I have raised $1000.  Please pray I can raise the funds if time I would so love to be able to help these children

Ginny, that sounds like good news.  Praying for her recovery.

Update - Sara is home and doing good. They removed all the under-the-skin tubes they were doing the antibiotic wash-out with, but she is still getting IV antibiotics 3X a day. Can you imagine having tubes under the skin to deliver medicine to the specific place? Makes me shudder. Thank you all for your ongoing prayers.
