North Carolina Quilters

Talking with quilters from all over the world is amazing, but sometimes it's good to get to know other quilters closer to home. This group will allow us to get to know other quilters from North Carolina, share our favorite quilt shops, tips, techniques and maybe make some new friendships!

Kathleen, Yes. I am originally from the Hudson Valley area of New York...about an hour and a half north of NYC

Comment by Kathleen Knopeck on May 15, 2013 at 10:36pm
That's very true, Sue. Are you from NY?
Comment by Sue Cooke on May 15, 2013 at 3:30pm

LOL it's like NY...people assume it's only extends about 10 hours north of it lol!

Regretfully I'll not attend the Expo in Raleigh as it is a 7 hour drive from where we live in the far western part of the state.  (Yes, NC does extend 2 hours past Asheville.)  :-)  I'll post some photos soon as I can figure out how to make my Mac post from iPhoto.
