Inspiring Quilters, Stitch by Stitch
Talking with quilters from all over the world is amazing, but sometimes it's good to get to know other quilters closer to home. This group will allow us to get to know other quilters from North Carolina, share our favorite quilt shops, tips, techniques and maybe make some new friendships!

I put together a 3 day quilt retreat for friends (15 - 20) so it’s a relatively small retreat. We have been going to Camp Dogwood at Lake Norman but they are going through many changes and I haven’t been ble to get any dates set for 2019 scheduled.…Continue

June is completely booked for me. Spring???
I can't do anything in July and August except for the first week of July. I work in kids clothing and that is Back to School time so I'm blacked out from taking weekends off.
If the date and price fit... I'm in! I would love to meet and share ideas with fellow quilters. Are there any art quilters thinking of going?
Thanks, Lisa! That info really helps! Hope you can make it but totally understand if you can't.
I guess we first need to know if we have 10 people that want to go.
Oh, and you need 10 people, minimum, and it holds 40+ comfortably in the room we get.
I have been fighting with myself over this as I would love to head this up and go, but I am already going in March and again in Oct and I don't know if I can squeak out a 3rd trip with out a hissyfit from dear hubby. The price we got was actually $218 for a 3 night stay from Thurs till Sunday with 3 meals a day, and I THINK 2 on Sunday. I do not know if that is an off season price so it may be more for summertime. Also, it fills up quick so you will need to find out what dates they have available.
Their phone number is 336-342-6163. It is a very beautiful place, and many like to take walks during the day around the lake. You can't beat it for the price. And not having to stop sewing to cook and clean up a meal is worth any price to me!!! LOL
Good luck
Lisa
I thought so too! If we are still shooting for summer, mid to late July would be best for me.
It seems like a beautiful place! Sounds good to me. What works for everyone as far as time?
Kathleen maybe we can figure it out together. I've never planned one either! Has anyone?
