Yea!  I have part 1 done.  I know it is a late start.  Better late than never, right?

Yay Patricia! Thanks Lyn. We have been very surprised by the numbers! It's been great for us to see. We're hoping that there's a place for Modern Quilts among AQS members.

Happy Birthday Patricia!  I celebrated my 60th 2 yrs ago Dec 3rd and my family had a big party for me - we had a blast.  My family did all the planning and clean-up and I just enjoyed everyone.  It was quite a job to raise a large family but the pay-off was worth it:-)  Congrats!  I am working on part two today - hope to have some pics later.

Hi, I'm late to the party but just learned about it on Weeks blog.  Looks like fun.

Weeks and Bill, you are doing a great job and can you believe how many people have joined the group? I looked at the numbers for past groups and they usually number around 150, and look at us!!! We are heading towards 400!!! Wow!!! There are going to be at least 365 copies of your quilt out there and no two will be alike!!! This is the most fun I have had making a quilt with a group, so thank you both!

You're welcome Karen. Wherever we go throughout the country we hear a lot of quilters talking about being overwhelmed by their stashes and wanting to use up what they have. Bill, who did all of the directions, is adamant about not making people buy things they don't need. Making it wonderfully scrappy could take it in an entirely different direction!

I am off to the AQS show in Des Moines today. Anxious to see all the quilts. I need to pick up some fabric so I can complete this quilt. Everyone's work is wonderful. Thank you Bill and Weeks for making the directions so we can use from our stash. The suspense grows.

Hello to All,  I have just joined and have not been in a group such as this before.  I have downloaded all parts but have only just begun Part 2. My templates are ready and I am cutting my background fabric.  Hope to catch up before part 5 comes out next week as life has calmed down here a bit.
