the quilt is incredible. the site has translater. scroll down, she has posted links for her design process & the mking of the quilt. from her graphs & photos you could probably recreate her quilt. she has counted the number of hexies ...i have no intention of doing/trying what she has done. but for ideas ..i love this quilt as idea source & graph ideas.. thanks lemmah

Chris- go to the address on Lemmah's comment, read down aways, there is some English, and patterns!  Except for the center medallion from a book on Italian tile quilts, the rest just grew out by itself.

I love your block Mary. Are those Hexi's from the new Hexagon book or some other pattern?

I saw that quilt too Lemmah...I would LOVE to make that. If only I had the pattern, and the patience...and the skill.

I just have to share this. I don't understand a word of it, but who needs to when you have photos like these! http://gritslife1.blogspot.com/p/hexagonquilt.html

Jodi and Mary--WELCOME! We're so glad you are here!

Mary, this is stunning! I love the blue by the white, it pops the white and takes it down a notch at the same time. Can't wait to hear how you decide to quilt it. I think that's a big question for everyone doing such intricate projects.
