poem from www.quiltvisionusa.com
She Learned to Quilt on
MONDAY.
Her stitches all were fine
She forgot to make us dinner
So we all went out to dine
She quilted miniatures on
TUESDAY
She says they are a must
They really were quite lovely
But she forgot to dust
On
WEDNESDAY
it was a sampler
She says that stipplings fun
What Highlights What Shadows!
But The LAUNDRY wasn’t done
Nine Patches were on
Thursday
Green, Yellow, Blue and red.
I guess she really was engrossed
She never made the Bed.
It was wall hangings on
Friday.
In colors she adores
It never bothered her at all
That crumbs were on the floor
I found a maid on
SATURDAY
My week is now complete
My wife can quilt the hours away
The house will still be neat
Well, now it’s only
SUNDAY
I think I’m about to wilt
I cursed, I raved ,I ranted
Cause
the Maid has learned to QUILT !

Hope everyone has a fun and saf Civic Holiday tomorrow.
Irmgard, how was Quilt Canada?l'm afraid l was busy w/grandkids when it was on.
We have a few row by row participating shops in the area.
Hopefully many of you can visit Quilt Canada. I am lucky because it is so close to where I live this year. As with so many other things, unfortunately, we seem to be eclipsed by our big American neighbours.
About 14 yr. ago...it was the forerunner of this show. lt was the first time l'd seen a longarm in action...and l just had to have one., so my dad & l built one. l still use that frame, but l now use my Bailey mid arm in it.
Hi Riana
Have you been before?
Quilt Canada is being held June 15- 18, 2016 at the International Center, Airport Rd. in Toronto Ont.
Holy cow! Where are all our Canadian members? How am l supposed to learn what's going on back home if nobody's left to post?
Hi Riana: I am on it. We will vote when my hd gets home from work.
