it's fine with me! I don't know if you knew it or not but I had made a blooming nine  patch page also but I made it within the batik swap page so I guess a lot of people didn't realize it.  here is a link to go look at the pictures these are blooming nines that the girls in the batik swap made. I hope they will also post here.

Vickie smith??  would you post your blooming nines here please? Ethelda? Sandi? anyone else? and share any advice you have?

Seriously, a group devoted to Blooming Nines! Love it! The brutally honest fact: I'm not making one yet. I'm too busy with work to quilt these days. BUT I love the Blooming Nines (Carla, all of your quilts are amazing!) and well...I'm going to just hang out and lurk, if that's ok!

Carla, your quilts are gorgeous. Congratulations on your win. My favorite is the Days of Wine and Roses.

this last one was made for my wonderful aunt and uncle. they both have very colorful personalities and especially her!  she wanted bright! so i ignored the usual blooming effect and just went with wild color!  i started to name this one ''sunglasses optional"" but as it progressed and bloomed it looked like color bursting off the wall and that's what i named it ''colorburst''

this second one i made for my sister and brother in law.  it's name is ''seasons of sage''  i love the colors in this quilt.  they are my colors. ha! my sister is one of those sugary sweet personalities and so is her husband. i have had people tell me that this looks like a Persian rug. lol :

I will show the ones I have made. this first one belongs to my parents.  I had collected fabrics for several years , running across one I liked now and then. the entire quilt has a wine and roses theme which resulted in it's name : '' The Days Of Wine and Roses''. this quilt was actually suppose to be the one I made for myself. but my dad and mom fell in love with it and  so couldn't hold it back from them!  the label is a wine bottle and a wine glass. the backing is all tossed corks. this quilt got a second place ribbon in June.

I am working on my first Blooming Nine Patch (B9P). I'm just starting the 3rd round. I'll post photos after I've completed each round.
