Oh my, l've done it now! Lol...went to a quilt show & fell in love with a Janome Horizon 8900qcp machine :-)), went to the shop next day to test drive, and brought it home. Love the 9mm wide feeds and 11" throat. I've always loved my Janome 6500, lately serviced & found that after 13 yr. and many MANY hours, it's starting to need more attention and parts get expensive on older equipment. I'm keeping it as backup, though.

Thank you ladies.  Hubby did not have surgery in Billings, they sent him home to follow up with primary care to get referral to surgeon.  We are now waiting for an appointment into a surgeon.  He is not in extreme pain, just uncomfortable.  The Prilosec is helping a lot.  His doc appt is July 17, then will be end of month before surgery.  Gives us a little time to prepare and he can plan his work schedule around the surgery.  It was tough just to get into a surgeon.  I appreciate all the prayers and well wishes.  You are the besties.

Sherri, love those blocks!  I am a Bonnie fan too, however, I am resisting the temptation to do other things except for UFOs and stashbusting at the moment ,, My gnomes are a bit behind at the moment.

Your Diamond Tile blocks are wonderful! So far, I have held out on the temptation to make some. I am a Bonnie fan, too!

Sherri, these blocks are gorgeous.  Hope you are feeling better...sorry to hear about your heart issues.  Runs in my family, so knock on wood and thankful for each day.

Beth I feel your pain.  whenever there is an injury even once healed it is never quite the same.  The leg I broke about a year ago, still gets tight in the eveining when I am lying in bed.  And even the other leg that had a bunonectomy many years ago still has some tightness on that foot.  I am recovering from my 3rd heart attack,  ( 1 1/2 wks ago)  I do manage to get some sewing time in if only for an hour a day.  So even though I have several large projects in process, I like to have some small projects going as well.  I decided to make up a few of Bonnie HUnter's diamond tile blocks. and I got hooked.   I just love Bonnie Hunter blocks.

Beth, your hubby jst wasn't going to get ill on company time, was he. So sorry...hope he gets relief real quick.

So sorry Beth. Will pray for a speedy recovery. My hubby had an inflammed gall bladder and they wanted to take it out. Some one sent us a home remedy that worked. Olive oil and fresh lemon juice every 15 minutes until the mixture is gone. When he woke up in the morning the stones passed with no problems. He hasn't ever had the problem again. It been about 14 years ago and the problem hasn't returned. However he hates olive oil to this day!!!
