Hi everyone and welcome to new members. I have been very busy and haven't been able to post anything. I'm still working on finishing my Autumn Delight wall hanging. I don't have much left to quilt but I just have to find the time to do it.  What is everyone else working on?  Anyone have any new projects that they have started?  I look forward to hearing about what you are working on. Have a great day.

Welcome Penny. Did you find a copy of the book that you were looking for?

This is off the topic but a friend of mine found out last week her FB account was compromised and someone is using her name here in the USA to scam money from people on FB. Her name is Lilian Hedley from England and if anyone gets a request for money in her name please ignore it and contact FB with the information. Lilian is trying to get this resolved. For those who don't know she is a wholecloth quilter who does her work by hand like I do only she is a far better quilter htan I am.

I love Karen McTavish. I saw her on Simply Quilts and decided to use a modified version of her trapunto method. I fell in love with Whole cloth quilts because of her and her story.

Pam, I also have that book and love it as well.  I have hand quilted 2 whole cloth quilts and machine quilted a few small whole cloths. But, have yet to try machine quilting a Large whole cloth.  I am doing the research into this project lol.  Our daughter and son in law have just bought their first house and I would like to give them a whole cloth quilt.

hahaha Pam!  Yes, that is me...  That was my very first whole cloth.  I hadn't been machine quilting very long at the time that I made that.  I hosted Karen at my house for a week full of workshops.  Too much fun!

I have another quilt that I marked that same weekend.  All the cut away work is done.  It just needs to be quilted...

I have that book and one other of hers, "Quilting for Show" When the whitework book went out of print the price shot up to over $300.00 a book on Amazon and elsewhere. I am very thankful they did reprints of this and I was finally able to acquire a copy. Vanilla Cream is on page 84. It is beautiful!

Good morning everyone. Last night I was looking through one of my quilt books, Whitework Quilting, by Karen McTavish. It is one of my favorite books for whole cloth quilts. The book is very inspiring. Does anyone else have this wonderful book?  When I was looking through the book. one of the quilts that caught my attention was "Vanilla Cream". Is that your quilt Kim?  When I saw the quilters name listed, I thought it was you, but I'm not sure. All of the quilts in the book are gorgeous.
