UFOs

If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Carla, I like the blue one best so I cancelled out Riana's vote! LOL.

Hubby and I are watching "Bloodlines" on Netflix and I'm finding when we watch 3 episodes a night the "badness" gets to me.  So I put the T.V. on pause last night and dug out some cutting to do while I watched.  I cut out 24 blocks last night.  It made the viewing so much better!

Carla, it wasn't until l had a second look at those tops , both lovely, that l realized they are the same pattern, lol. I like the red one  best:-))

Holy cow, Liz l was up too! No lights or noise , though, since hubby, unlike myself, has supersonic hearing and gets grumpy if his beauty sleep is disturbed, lol. I just got a glass of milk, returned to bed and let my mind keep racing! I've a friend in Fla. who l'm loaning my quilting frame/ midarm to for the rear l'll be gone. ( one  of the" deeds" to pay for my Tinytown house) I've been messaging her tips on taking it down from our house there, and she will reassemble in her newly enclosed sunroom. So many details...and l don't want to frighten her. I know she will have a blast running it, she was a fmq & rulerwork  student and has already done fabulous quilting on her domestic. It's much better for machine to be used than it is to sit in closet, and she makes most of her quilts for hospitals and memory care centers there.

It's the middle of the night and I can't sleep so I'm here admiring your 2 Jelly Snowflake mystery tops, Carla.  Colours are very appropriate - red, green and white looks Decemberish and the aqua, navy and white combination looks frosty.  I am thinking that they would make lovely Christmas gifts.

I love all of the work you ladies do.

Elizabeth, yes I will just free motion all of these smaller quilt tops. I am not wonderful at it but it gives me practice.

Thanks all. I just used stash on my California and I wasn't real thrilled with it. I thought the colors needed a little extra but it's good for working with what I had.

I also used stash for the mosaic mystery and loved that turnout. I had been wanting to use that combo for a while.

Carla, you have me wishing I could start a mystery quilt.

Riana, I can just see that quilt being dragged everywhere by its owner. Don't you just love it when a child bonds with a quilt?
