Inspiring Quilters, Stitch by Stitch
If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Got 1st border on, set my letters on to see where I want them to go ... now working on which outer border, I think Fa La LA La La gets it .. and my other large piece be backing ... this is all from scraps from daughter's quilt from 2012 .. I may have enough for coasters now hahaha

Mary, how about " and a bobbin that always stays full" for the last part. Maybe we can work in the repairman on an earlier verse?
Thanks Elizabeth. We were going to put up a tree this yr,as the grands were supposed to stay over ...but they changed their minds & decided they want to stay home ...so unless they change their minds ( again), the only other decorating will be the village. l'll let them help set it up when they stay over night Fri.
Could we make up our own verses for twelve days of Christmas, ..."and a sewing machine repairman on 24hr call." That doesn't phase right..help?
Riana, your decorations are so tasteful and just right!
Hubby and I had a nice vegan dinner last night. It wasn't bad driving in the rain. It was the driveway of the parking lot that was freezing and we tippy-toed and held each other to get to the door of the restaurant. The meal was buffet-cafeteria style. I ate a few items that I had never tried before. The quiche was my favourite. Lots of patrons in there even though the weather was bad.
I didn't go to my guild in the U.S. today. I didn't want to drive.
Riana, how lovely that you play the organ!
Sure, let's sing carols, how about the 12 days of Christmas?? And play games, work on puzzles, sip Hot chocolate and munch on cookies. Are you going to tell us one of those funny Christmas stories?? Nice organ.
How about a jigsaw puzzle and some board games? It'll feel like we are a big, happy family, huh? We always had a jigsaw puzzle going in the winter months.
