UFOs

If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Got my center together on the log cabin, got the 1st border on and promptly removed it after hanging it up on the wall and getting 'the wave'. I didn't trust my math and measured it, was WRONG ! Went back to math and am now putting on first border again ..

Beth -- it came out great !  The sash between the stars in the border came out great. Re quilting: do you use pantos usually ?  lay a few across it and see what speaks to you. You've got a lot of points, so something with easy curves, or circles ?

Help, how do I quilt this?

WOW - 61 pages!  This is some prolific group!  Glad to see you all getting motivated.  I have 3 swaps I'm working on and then will start on UFO's.  I checked and there are about 10 in various stages (including fabric with pattern - shhh - don't tell DH or he won't take me shop hopping any more).  Maybe I need to have an intervention, too - take my debit card!

Hope you all had a lovely 4th! I recently saw a reference on one of the boards or blogs about a tutorial re: quilt as you go. Seems like the kind of thing I would have bookmarked, but can't find it anywhere. Does anyone have any info on this?
Meanwhile, today it is back to handquilting my queen size. Actually seeing progress!

Beth, your quilts are beautiful. 60 quilts to date!!! When do you eat and sleep? Or do you have a group of little elfs working for you that you aren't telling us about?

Saturday I picked up my round robin quilt from the longarm. I'll post once I get the binding on. I'm also trying to get my center square done because round robin 2 has started as of yesterday and I'm not quite done. Nothing like being behind before you start!! I still have 4 outfits for grandchildren that I need to get done...hopefully this week, but my brother and his wife are here from Wisconsin. I'm glad he's here.  Not much sewing is getting done.

@Joyce -- it will go quicker than you think :D  But you are handquilting it  LOL  Just let us know when you make the decision again and we'll stop ya  haha

Today I'm machine quilting -- crosshatch only -- but still sore from yesterday's chores. Icing foot before I try to sew ..it's hell when the accelerator foot is throbbing!
