If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Deanna, love this log cabin design.

Linda, I've been lending my "Quilter's Newsletters" out, but should have the one you need if you don't find it online.  Before we moved 11 years ago I had them all back to the beginning!

Deanna, Another log cabin to love!

Glad you're getting a safer bathroom, Linda...hopefully w/some grab rails added . l've put my saved magazine patterns/ideas in a binder using those clear plastic protector "pockets" that have 3 rings punched in them. You would probably have to use more than 1 binder, lol.

Marcia, sounds like your feeling a bit better...glad of it:)

Marcia - Had I known that I would have shipped all those magazines to you. There were a lot of them too. Do you get any on a regular basis? If you PM your address I can send you a few magazines every couple months or so. I only keep the ones that have patterns that I'm interested in. I've even torn out the patterns if it didn't affect another pattern. If it did I copied it. I had so many magazines and no place to keep them. And I Have to stop downloading free patterns. I'm now trying to organize the ones I've pulled out of magazines or printed out. Trying to organize the ones on computer. Oh what a mess!!!! And then I started this BOM... what was I thinking?????

Thank you Rogue for the tip. I'll look tomorrow. Contractors wee here all day tearing out my bathroom and my head is splitting. I'm having a walk-in shower put in. I've had too many almost land on my face trying to get my legs over the side of the bath tub.

Log cabin pinwheel drawn for giggles ~~ loved the scrappy look that it was sewn in, but easy to show movement in two color ~~ Beth wants to make it in scraps ~~ i think it would be darling .. oh btw .. this is 90x90 ish ..

Beth - I am so excited - Joann's here has the Cardinal NFL fabric - I can work it some how and some where, depending on the side of the logo.  And he wouldn't rip it out - he would think it was funny.  He goes to their games----I'm so glad that you mentioned this in your post.

Dee - I looked up the Block of the Month that you wrote about.  - they are beautiful.  I just finished the above mentioned quilt top that had several HSTs.  Now don't laugh at me - but these blocks incorporate all kinds of triangles - wow!!I I think I will pass on this idea - I'm trying to lower the stress levels in my life.  :):)

Linda, hope you find the 2nd part of the quilt you lost.  I haven't quilted long enough to collect a lot of books.  Good luck, sweetie.

I started a BOM quilt just for the fun of it..making out of scraps. I saved the  QOV quilters newsletter site in my favorites so I can return to it later when I get caught up on things..ha ha ha. Wish I was as caught up as you are, Beth.

I used to get Quilters Newsletter a few years back. There was a pattern called "Flea Market" that came in 4 parts. I'm missing part 2 Aug/Sept 2010 and if anyone should have it I would be forever grateful. I have a feeling my cousin picked up a stack I hadn't looked at yet. She was going to sell them at her garage sale and she said they went fast.

Dee, love the BOM idea. Look forward to seeing some posts on it.

For QOV enthusiasts, I don't know if y'all have seen this ..

NICE blocks ~~ this is a BOM from Quilters Newsletter and any of the blocks are awesome. I am going to do a 1x a month QOV sewing / cutting arrangement for our state .. like I need another project, but this is a community service dear to my heart ...
