If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Elizabeth, sounds like the quilt show was lots of fun.  Great way to treat yourself for mother's day.  Hope your hubby gets better quickly.

Happy Mothers Day to All of you.

I was thinking the same thing, Elizabeth. My mom passed when I was 18 so I never got to have an adult relationship with her. I would so love a long conversation with her.

Happy Mother's Day!  I wish my Mom were here today and we could talk.

Happy Mother's Day to all of the mothers out there, and all who have mothered or been mothered.

I got a post this morning that I thought I'd share. It is a lost quilt originating in OH. Since we have many gals from there, maybe one of you can help. Follow the link -

Great composition of flowers in that painting...would that idea ever translate well into an applique quilt! It reminds of the gorgeous florals in the quilt shops of Maui when we vacationed there 6 yr. ago. I love vendors at quilt get to shop at dozens of quilt shops all in one place :-))

Ginny, this was my 2nd experience at a paint nite.  They are just for fun!  Although Judy and I concentrated on our masterpieces during the limited time.  There were 50 men and women at this one because it was for a good cause and some of the paintings were (I shouldn't say this) funny.  The instructor let everyone do their own thing when it came to colours and she helped them mix the paints.  I go by both Elizabeth and Liz and I like both names.  I used "Liz" to sign the painting because it is shorter.
