If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Did I miss something? Tracking hours? I didn't track my hours when I worked for pay! Lucky I mostly worked salaried jobs!!

I don't know about tracking hours.  I am strictly a hand quilter, if I kept track of hours I might be tempted to quit.  I know it's a LOT of hours, probably by now after 25 years it's probably months or even years playing pokey finger.

Mary, tracking hours?  I'd never remember I was supposed to be doing it, lol.

Good thinking Kris.  I would like to give extra credit for hand quilting...though that may be me being grumpy as I've never mastered machine quilting.  Tracking our actual hours would really be scary.

Riana - that fascinator is adorable.  Totally goes with your gorgeous smile.

Elizabeth - I love your Kitty Quilt!

To all of you throwing around ideas for a PhD - I love the idea, and would gladly participate.  I have three quilts that are ready to sandwich and quilt, but I must finish the Continuum quilt before I start quilting anything else.  I have the blocks done, and am working on assembling the rows now.

If we were to do tickets for a drawing, I'd suggest 1 ticket for wall hanging and smaller, 2 for baby and lap quilts, 3 for a queen, and 4 for a king, but whatever you decide is fine with me!

Mary, I think a " discussion box" like those other groups have is needed here. I've emailed Sylvia Thomas who looks after much of this site. Hopefully she can come up with a way.

Diplomas sound really fun.

Wonder how to get a new discussion thread added to this group?

Diplomas???  What a great idea, Barbara.

Mary, personal delivery would be fun...a road trip.  I have a Pfaff 1475 machine.  The motherboard finally died.  Need to send it to a place in OH where they actually can fix this machine.  Just need to bite the bullet.

I could make some cute mug rugs with a sewing theme as prizes.  Lots of scraps accumulating around here.  Maybe a microwave bowl or two or tea towels.

This sounds like a new group for 2020.

I have lots of things on my machine that I could make for the little prizes. Like embroidery ornaments, tissue  holders, coasters, etc... And as Elizabeth suggested quilt blocks. I have so many scraps it would only coast me a few pennies.

Cute Linda!!! We should get diplomas.

Maybe Paul and I could deliver it?
