If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Deanna, loved the photos you posted on Facebook. You gals really were busy on sew day!

Barbara, your Hardy's is a really nice one. Indy and I enjoyed our breakfast there the last time we visited you and Colin in Oshkosh. All your friends were so nice.

I don't get out to eat much anymore but when I do, I love Panda Express, Sweet Tomatoes, and Olive Garden. I was taken to WingStop recently and must say it was delicious! But eating at fast food places means usually taking acid reflux meds later.

I feel like I don't have any energy left to type .. I am back at work and slept Sunday away practically.  We had a great turnout for QOV Sew Day ~ we finished quite a few, and a few have a bit more to do.  But that's ok ~ we only have 5 names for quilts and the rest will be ready when someone gets nominated.  However, I did have the local photographer come to take picx as he usually takes pictures @ the local HS ceremony for Veteran's Day .. now he sees what happens before the award ceremony. I bet we get a lot more nominations flooding in  lol

Will load up some picx later .. have to get more work done, but it is really hard today. 70's outside and sunshine and it's February .. I want to sit outside and get some vitamin D!!

Stitch on !

When we have a coupon we go to Hardy's. lol  We have a nice one in Oshkosh where all the senior hang out in the mornings Mon-Fri.  Even though they are a fast food chain, they have two ladies that go around refilling our coffees. With a coupon they have a 1/3 lb burger for 2.99, made with natural beef. (What ever that means!!) They don't play loud music and people are friendly. The place is clean. We are pretty satisfied with that and we save some money.

Riana, I love to eat at Golden Corral!  I like Applebee's and Chili's too.  But we're not travelling so I haven't been to one in years.  But if I see a commercial for one on T.V. I always tell Hubby that I would like to go.  Here in Ottawa the chains we like are Swiss Chalet, Boston Pizza and Mandarin.  We try to go out once a week.

The Sampler Quilt is done except for the label and pressing the back of the binding.  And Hubby and I have been catching up on our favourite T.V. shows that are on past our bedtime on Rogers On Demand.  I like Manifest and The Good Doctor.

No, Elizabeth, hubby & l seldom eat out, and when we do, it's often Italian or a place with smorgasbord ( like Golden Coral in USA). We're both picky eaters, and cheap to boot, lol! Sounds like you had a great time and a nice meal for her birthday get together.

Hi Everyone!

Here in Ottawa we set a record for 97 cm. of snow for January.  And it is still the "dead of Winter" here in February.

And, Riana, it is southern B.C.'s turn to get some cold weather.  The cherry blossoms are freezing on the trees.  Your Honor Flight quilt is very lovely.  QOV couldn't get us a venue to meet on International Quilting Day so we are meeting on Feb. 6 to make red and white log cabin blocks for QOV quilts.  The weather forecast isn't that favourable for Wed.  As long as we can drive there I'll go.

We celebrated my daughter-in-law's birthday yesterday.  She picked us up and brought us home.  Hubby doesn't like to drive at night and my son is still recuperating from his eye surgery.  We went to Milestones.  I had never been there.  It is up-scale and the food was delicious.  Riana, do you know that chain?

Today I am sewing the binding on my Sampler Quilt.  Soon, it will be done!  I'm ready to move on to another project.

Ginny, l have a friend north of you on Vancouver Is. B.C., same above freezing non winter weather...they'll be seeing cherry blossoms while the rest of the country digs out of piles of snow.

Yes, Barbara, l feel truly blessed. I just hope the " big freeze" hasn't damaged out cystern pumps etc. back home.

Here's the Honor Flight quilt l'm donating for veterans here in USA. " Americana", inspired by rose of Sharon .

Mary, Pleeeeaassee don't send us any more snow!!! I can't imagine dealing with 48 inches.

Ginny, I love your Ground Hog Day Greeting. I made it my desk top pic for the next 6 weeks.  lol !

Riana, You are one lucky woman!!
