If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Deanna, I Love It!!!! Pretty much what I had in mind except I didn't think about your first border.  Oh my this is a beauty.

@Rebecca .. here's my idea so far .. the first border represents the trees (HSTs) and the 2nd border are half blocks of delectable mountains  I think I like this one :>  I've got plenty of time to work this in as I still have to put the last log on the blocks, then square all of them, then put them into rows :>

I have pictures, but we are going out of town in the morning, be back Tuesday. We could hardly complete a step without ouing and ahhhhing over them.

@Rebecca, funny you should mention that. I was thinking along the same lines. Before I DO it, I can make my blocks up in EQ and see if I like it  LOL

Elizabeth, hope you had a wonderful anniversary dinner.  Sound like you had a great day with fitness and sewing and lots of laughter. That would be my kind of day too.

Deanna, your log cabin quilt is going to be lovely. I think your idea of cabins would be really cute. I was thinking you might put some sawtooth mountains in as a border too, but that might detract from your logs.

Beth, your quilts are wonderful!! Thank you so much for sharing them. Hope you had a wonderful anniversary.  Swap exchanges must be a lot of fun, especially international ones.  Hope you post pictures of the wilderness one after it is quilted. I have had the pleasure and honor of quilting a couple of quilts with wildlife in them and what a challenge they were to bring those special critters to life.

Thank you ladies.  No, the chickens are not a pattern.  You can find some of them on where they came from.  It was an internet swap exchange thru the quilting board.  Lots of fun.
