If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Riana, your quilt is looking great!  I finished machine quilting my 9 Patch Variation - now it needs some binding.

I worked a little too hard on Monday and I've been sore.  Today they treated my sore spots with heat, the 2 machines and with massage therapy and the physio told my exercise man to be gentle with me and I came home feeling much better and she gave me a holiday from exercises tomorrow.

I'll spend my holiday time quilting!

Wilma, thank you. That was my thinking.

Riana, braided would look great.

Zoe, I would have him carry them on board.  Too much work to have them get lost in the mail or “taken”.  We checked in a box full of dry food items for an extended stay in Hawaii.  It never made it on board with baggage.  Several days later they called and told us the box was arrived, but many food items were missing.

Riana, what a pretty quilt !

What do you all think about me mailing the quilts to Hawaii? Do you think they would make it there safely, or do you think my nephew should carry them on board?

Another amazing quilt Riana! Herringbone would look beautiful.

Well, l have the inner border and the 2 side borders done. Thinking of maybe doing herringbone( braid) on top and bottoms. Tomorrow, l'll look at it fresh and decide.

I pay so much attention to the weather every day as I record the high and low for every day first thing before breakfast.  Today is a red (high) yellow (low) day - only the second red day this year!

Feeling sore today from yesterday's exercises with my physio man.  Couldn't do my walk yesterday.  But I'm on my way downstairs for 2 hours of some form of quilting and fun with friends.

After 2 years of hot summers and drought conditions, rain is needed to restore lakes and water table....but yeah, maybe if it rained at night and was sunny during daytime, things wouldn't be so soggy. Hubby's been cutting our huge lawn 2 times a week! Mosquitoes are feeding the swallows, frogs and dragonflies...only good ude for them!

Kris, my former Ohio neighbors and family members are all complaining of the tremendous amount of rain they've been getting this year. Many of my farmer friends can't get their crops in and those that did are being drowned out. Are you in NE Ohio where they had the 2 earthquakes?
