If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

Pat thank you !

Today has been frustrating. We have a two story home and I was not able to get mom out the door down some steps to go to a doctors appointment today. I am still going off of one hour sleep from last night, was not able to get a nap in. The last home health that came here, the nurse told me of a company who makes house calls, so I summited the paperwork, I do not know if she will qualify or not. Then I called a guy about doing a ramp, only issue is the HOA here would not want one in the front, so we looked at doing a outside chairlift, and a small ramp. They guy was very helpful in showing other things that need to be done for my mom to age in place. He showed her how her bathroom needs to be redone, and how her rollaider handles needed to be lower to help her get up- this was very helpful right now. Then later the NP from the cardio office called, this has become a daily chat. Then I found out that my mom has not been taking her medication as instructed, but playing with dose again with her high blood pressure. If she keeps this up, she might have a stroke. I wish I had other family here to help me.

On quilting, Riana you are inspiring me. I think I will use the 1 1/2 " strips I used in my nephews quilt to make the sides of that quilt, most are greens and browns, and I think I have some blues somewhere in landscape fabric.

Linda, I am so glad you got me to this location, it was sad when we ere shut down from the other group and were not able to copy pictures, names, notes to our friends, etc. I just hope we can announce on each board here where we will be.

Pat, nice to meet another QCA member! It's been so long ago that I don't remember everyone. We may not have been in the same groups. I don't even remember the groups I was in back then! LOL

Zoe I love your quilt.  It is restful and serene.  Zoe I remember you from QCA and the quilts you made.  They were always so beautiful.  I envied your abilities to put color and design together in an amazing fashion.

Good to know, Linda, thanks.

Lost our intenet last night ( snow on dish). Milder today, so it must've slid off, lol.

I believe the kennel group posts photos with each entry, Riana. So it must be possible with each group.

Yes, Mary, l have set settings already on a " ghost group", unseen at this time until the name is official. Everyone in our group will be ables to have an album, and the group will also have phot capability ( although Linda may have to school us on that. I think the comment area can't include photos, so we's say " see photo" or maybe l can suggest  a signal like ☆ or an asterisk to let people know to lookk on photo page.

QWSOTS  or Quilters with Support on the Side.

A tenth of the county is still without power. I do love our generator. Two weeks of snow bound here.  Neighbors bringing dog food today.  Maybe the part for the tractor will be here, Fed Ex has had it in a nearby town but refused to deliver or let anyone pick it up for the last 10 days. The installation of new floor in an upstairs bedroom going well.

Needlespot looks like a well thought out site.  I wonder if we could transfer our home page photos there?

Wilma, and Linda, we can add " discussion' pages, so yes, things like ufo's,/phd challenges, even Tiny Town can be added easily in that way. Linda can even set up her own Secret Santa group on Needlespot if she likes, because that group has to be a " closed off " membership all it's own.

Lets get a name! I'll post the list Saturday, and we'll vote on Sunday. Keep those names coming!

Linda, Tiny Town in reality has a new owner, as it was a fund raiser. If enough of us want to revive it, that's ok with me, but on here, it's been very quiet.

Thinking about names about " My Quilt Place Friends". That shows where we came from. I'm not sure yet how to set up pages etc. on Needlespot. I thought l'd just set it up, then do extras once we've settled. I need a name before l can even start the group. Keep the names coming! They're ALL going on a list for us to vote from.

Linda, Thank you !!

Yes, I called her doctor up three times yesterday, and called them this morning to let them know what I see happening at home and what we are trying. I love her doctor, well educated. Not many people in my mom's age group work out like she does so, it is just a curve ball.
