UFOs

If you're a REAL quilter, you have at least one UFO (unfinished object) and one WIP (work in progress) stashed in the closet or stacked on a shelf. Maybe you just need quilting suggestions, or maybe a fresh eye from a new online friend can help with block arrangements. How about a UFO swap? Any UFO conversation is welcome.

What pattern did you use ? I have been in love with the Miranda Day bag for years now and finally bought it at Christmas for myself. Now to find the material I want to DO it in :D  A friend of mine found a product called Soft and Stable, and my SIL does a lot of bags, so I bought a yard for her for her Christmas present this year -- she's raving about it!  Now to do one for myself so I can use it LOL

I used Pellon fusbile its almost like a thin white cardboard, can't remember what called, for the inside pocket and then I used 80/20 when i quilted it.  I also reinforced the pockets with fusible wonder under heavy weight so they would not fray so quickly.  I have made a couple other purses and this seems to work the best.  Almost wanted to put a fusible vinyl on the fabric so would hold up even longer, but did nto want the slick feel to it.
